You can`t compares two folders to scar for duplicated files.

A great software that outperformes many paid pieces of software. You can not go wrong with this one. Logfiles, Privacy and Trash Files can be deleted with ease!

this app is great. if you are looking for an app that will delete the browser cache, trash, etc, then this is the app for you. very easy to use, just install and scan, and select what you want to delete.

Thank you AVG, this is exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for an app to remove duplicates and clean up unwanted files easily then this is the app for you.

This app is perfect if you have pretty much no idea what you’re doing when trying to clean your computer yourself. Or if you do it’s still great. It’s amazingly easy that even someone who is always afraid of wrecking the computer (like me) can use it and not worry! You literally just have to confirm the home folder, click “scan,” and the app does everything for you. You get to look through what the program finds and decide what stays and what goes, which is a great feature. I just used it for the first time and it cleared over 3 GB of junk from my computer and now it’s working better than ever! Definitely recommend this app to anyone looking to clean up their hard drive and/or remove duplicates from their computer!

Useless with the new update asking to register and create an account… I feel sorry for them, the app was amazing before...

Although this seems to be efficient (even without registration, at least during my first use), the interface leaves one wondering what might be going on, which files are being scanned, where the files are, etc. The settings are rather poor as the GUI. But it is free and it might do the job well, if the HD is small and all one wants is a quick and dirty method of eliminating duplicates. I did not go all the way. There are better options.

Tried a few of them, this is the best in terms of ease of use. Just make sure to uncheck Recycle Bin option otherwise it will complain that there isn;t one. You can setup a recycle bin on Synology to make deleted files go in there.

It does what it says it will do. No tricks, no problems. Good app!

Saved me tons of space, and made my computer a little faster!

No downsides—this beauty does exactly what it says it must do: Clean Your Mac of unnecessary files. The speed will amaze you. For a free app, this is a bargain and then some. AVG has proven itself again to have marketed yet another gem and this time for our Macs and not just the PCs.

I needed this app so badly and the fact that it is free is just astounding, there is no reason everyone shouldn’t have this on their Mac!

Didn’t really know if I could trust AVG Cleaner, as I couldn’t find any relevant information on it… Decided to give it a go anyway, first cleaning said I could clean up to 92GB of data, which is not a negligible amount. After the cleaning, my Terminal could not open as if the Application did not exist at all… Extremely frustrating, now I’ll probably have to reset my boot disk to get it back

Il software è utile per la pulizia di file non necessari ma è comunque incompleto. La controparte windows ha molte cose che secondome me potrebbero essere veramente di aiuto anche in OS X. Do tre stelle proprio per le mancaze sovracitate. Aggiugnete almento alcune delle buone funzioni presenti nella controparte Windows e diventerà lo strumento perfetto di pulizia per entrambi i sistemi operativi. This software is handy for cleaning junk files but it is incomplete. The Windows counterpart has alot of stuff that in my opinion could be really helpful in OS X indeed. Three stars because of what i’ve aforementioned. Add at least some of the good features of the Windows counterpart and it will become the definitive cleaning tool for both operating systems.

It scans home folder quickly, but i found below: - Deletion takes lot of time.. dont know why? - Unable to see which folder am i going to delete? i saw in the disk cleaner search results as “cache” option under “client” section. I could n’t find this client folder on my system and it is 4.5GB. I couldn’t delete this section until i know what am i deleting. Hope they will display which files am i deleting like "reveal in finder" option.
